English Lesson Terms & Conditions

1. Service Overview

These terms and conditions govern the provision of English language learning services by Pammas. By booking and attending our English lessons, you agree to be bound by these terms in addition to our general Terms of Service.

2. Lesson Types and Formats

2.1 Available Formats

We offer English lessons in the following formats:

  • One-on-one private lessons (online via video call)
  • Small group lessons (2-4 students)
  • Specialized courses (business English, exam preparation, etc.)

2.2 Lesson Duration

Standard lesson duration is 60 minutes unless otherwise specified. Lesson time includes brief warm-up and wrap-up activities.

3. Booking and Scheduling

3.1 Lesson Booking

To book lessons, students must:

  • Complete the registration process and provide accurate information
  • Select available time slots through our booking system
  • Make payment as required before the lesson
  • Provide at least 24 hours notice for booking

3.2 Schedule Changes

Students may reschedule lessons with at least 24 hours notice. Rescheduling requests with less than 24 hours notice may result in lesson forfeiture.

3.3 Instructor Availability

While we strive to maintain consistent instructor assignments, we reserve the right to assign different qualified instructors based on availability.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

Current lesson prices are displayed on our website and may be updated periodically. Price changes will not affect lessons already booked and paid for.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards
  • PayPal
  • Bank transfers (for package purchases)

4.3 Package Deals

Lesson packages offer discounted rates and must be used within the specified validity period. Unused lessons in expired packages are non-refundable.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Student Cancellations

  • 24+ hours notice: Full credit or reschedule available
  • 12-24 hours notice: 50% credit applied to account
  • Less than 12 hours: No refund or credit (lesson forfeited)
  • No-show: Full lesson fee charged, no credit given

5.2 Instructor Cancellations

If we need to cancel a lesson, you will receive full credit or a full refund, plus a 10% bonus credit as compensation for the inconvenience.

5.3 Technical Issues

If technical problems prevent a lesson from taking place or significantly impact lesson quality, we will provide a replacement lesson at no charge.

6. Student Responsibilities

6.1 Attendance and Punctuality

Students are expected to:

  • Join lessons on time and be prepared to learn
  • Have a stable internet connection and appropriate device
  • Find a quiet environment suitable for learning
  • Complete any assigned homework or preparation

6.2 Respectful Behavior

Students must treat instructors and other students with respect. Inappropriate behavior may result in lesson termination without refund.

7. Learning Materials and Resources

7.1 Provided Materials

We provide digital learning materials, worksheets, and resources as part of our lessons. These materials are for personal use only and may not be redistributed.

7.2 Additional Resources

Students may be recommended to purchase additional textbooks or resources. These purchases are optional and at the student's expense.

8. Progress Tracking and Assessment

8.1 Progress Reports

Regular progress assessments will be provided to help track learning advancement. These assessments are for guidance and motivation purposes.

8.2 Certificates

Completion certificates may be provided for structured courses upon successful completion of all required lessons and assessments.

9. Privacy and Recording

9.1 Lesson Privacy

Lessons are private sessions between students and instructors. We do not record lessons unless explicitly requested and consented to by all parties.

9.2 Data Protection

Student information and learning progress are kept confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Quality Assurance

10.1 Instructor Qualifications

All our instructors are qualified English language teachers with relevant certifications and experience in teaching English as a second language.

10.2 Feedback and Complaints

We welcome feedback about our services. If you have concerns about lesson quality, please contact us through our support form within 48 hours of the lesson.

11. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide high-quality English instruction, we cannot guarantee specific learning outcomes or proficiency improvements. Learning progress depends on various factors including student effort, practice, and individual learning capacity.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Students will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
